88 turbo in a 90?

I don't know much about FC's but I was wondering what the difference is between the two generation cars engines. the 1988 is a turbo motor but the 1990 is a non turbo. Would it be easier to just pull the forced induction parts off the 1988 and put it on the 1990 and do the required things to get it to run or just swap the motor?

What is need for the complete swap, we have both cars for it. Only issue is the 88 turbo's ecu is bad. I was thinking engine, tranny, intake system, drive shaft, anything small I'm missing?

I didn't want to have to post but apparently my thread is over looked, what is needed to swap over from a 1988 turbo to a n/a 1990 FC? Anything is appreciated if its beneficial for me, thanks.
