Dang Yo!
Hah! Yeah, I read there's a few ways to get to the large plug up above the accelerator pedal w/out losing my temper. I'll try to see if the larger connector on my new Logicon is just pressed onto those pins - looks like there's 14 wires. I just don't want to damage this new one in the process. I don't mind soldering, but I'd rather not.

I'm pretty sure that plug is soldered to the Logicon board. And after tearing up my forearms and knuckles just now, I've freed up enough wire loom to cut the existing plug in the dash close enough to the old Logicon for soldering the new unit onto the old harness.

I just found this removal instructional, seems to answer my questions. Hopefully it'll be beneficial to others down the road.

I'm not sure if you've check but, there is a big blue connector underneath the driver's side dash... it's a 24 pin or 30 pin... it's one of the biggest ones under there, you can't miss it.

Is that blue connector plugged in? It sounds like it's unplugged.

Thanks, I did see that plug while searching around for the Logicon plug and it did seem to be intact.

UPDATE:

Alright! I finally got around to soldering in my new Logicon, but of a pain in the *** but now I can say it's done. I opted to cut the original harness and solder the cut Logicon to it; I was about to burn the car down trying to free the original harness from way up under the dash (felt like Marcus in Bad Boys trying get that french-fry in the opening scene) and I wasn't about to bust up my new Logicon board trying to desolder the pins. All in all, it worked and boy I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I was expecting a lot more air movement through the vents. Under whelming is putting it nicely, I've got new relays unless it's the blower itself? But I think it just doesn't push as much air as I'd like it to...
Being down in South Florida in a hot *** car any air movement is a blessing but I'd like more... Is there anything out there as far as upgrading to a more powerful blower? We did the Emissions Delete and Left the AC compressor, but I'm pretty sure my son wants that out too. So, now onto the stuck sunroof and non-working electric windows in search of more air

You've been a trooper through all of this. Many would've thrown in the towel. This work that you've done isn't necessarily easy for the average person.

With that being said, I am not necessarily helpful here with this part. I will say, some that complain on here about the same issue get told to take out the dash and seal up the hoses and the mating surfaces to the blower, etc. I was under the impression that there is a way to test that the blower is at full speed, too. Hopefully someone can chime in.

the issue with poor airflow probably lies in the fact that the sponge seals at every duct and door are likely deteriorated. my rx7s used to blow decently and cool, last time i drove my FC a couple years ago the airflow was quite underwhelming as well. rebuilding the whole air distribution box is likely not a fun project, since the dash has to come out and the plastics in these cars holding everything together is VERY brittle.

make sure the intake under your wiper cowl isn't stuffed with leaves and blocking airflow too. it's not super hard, just 2 nuts holding the wipers on and 3 screws holding the metal shield cover in place as i recall.

make sure you are on fresh air too(recirc off), it does make a difference on how much air gets through the motor.
