Mystery Connector.

I've started minimizing the electrical components and wires in the engine bay and today I started the Transmission/Starter harness (X-10 in the FSM) and I found a connector with a bare wire hanging out but cant find where its supposed to go. The car ran fine without it but I would like to know where it goes just in case its necessary for something. I checked the FSM but couldn't find this connector anywhere. The other 3 wires go to the reverse light switch and the starter.

Here is a picture of the wire and connector. The wire is blue w/a white stripe. I removed it from the rest of the harness just in case I don't need it. If I do its easy to put back in.

Thanks for the help.
