88 S4 N/A w/5 speed....Radiator Question

I did a search and could not find any info on this specific question:

I am getting some seepage around the seams at the top of my radiator tank where the plastic part is crimped to the metal part. Can a radiator shop replace those plastic tanks or will I have to get a replacement radiator ? Thanks.

Has anyone ever got their radiator repaired?

They can be repaired by a radiator shop. They run some epoxy-like substance around the outside to fill the gaps. Didn't work very well for me, and I wound up buying a new radiator, which is what I'd recommend. $65 for the repair, $135 for the new radiator.
