just two days ago my car started to putter and stay at 4000 rpms its fine till it its that 4'rpm mark and in nutrual it will go higher then 4 but all the way to redline im thinking its a timing problem what do you think and is it an easy fix.

 

things to check: tps, grounds. But before you do anything go to the FAQ (its the top thread in this forum). It will help you with just about any minor-major problems you might have with ur car.
