88 rearend help

88 rearend help

I have an 88 rx-7 how is the rearend in it, do i need to upgrade with the s5 engine with big power

is this on a turbo or n/a? If it is a turbo the stick with the s4 rear end. It will be plenty strong and it has the clutch type differential, which is better for drifting and drag racing.

I find I can take a 6-7 hour drive before it gives out. After that, I have to take a break; the seats are actually pretty comfortable. It's my ears that give out first, especially if I've been driving through the mountains.
