88 na in 86 sport will it work ?

can i put an 88 na motor in my 86 sport? will the 86 ecu run the 88 motor with no mods to the harness or do i need to run the 88 ecu instead of the 86 ecu?

Yep, it'll work. However, you will need to swap the injectors from the 86 engine onto the '88 engine. Or, bypass the resistor block on the '86 wiring harness.

It is right by the passenger side headlight. Looks white in color usually from what I have seen.

The resistors themselves are whitish, but the cover to it is aluminum.

You have to pull the airbox off to see it.

Just swap the injectors, its' a hell of a lot easier.

Everything else should just bolt in, no problem.

Thats what I would do. Swapping NA injectors is a cakewalk.
