88 n/a needs oil!

HI as u can see im new to this forum and i know this might sound like a ridiculous question to u xperts but my tranny and diff. are in need of some fluid and i cant find any place to put oil on them. so the question is does any1 have a diagram or a detailed description of where i put oil in it? thnx in advanced i have an 88 fc n/a not sure of the model but its 5 lugs and i recently jacked it up and the diff. is lsd is it gtu or glx or not enough info?

You put gear oil in the large access bolts on the sides of them.

Engine oil goes in the cap labled 710

For basic questions like this, purchase a Haynes repair manual. Look in the FAQ and also use the search feature on the forum.

That's great!

Info on where fluids goes can be found in the owners manual, Haynes manual and service manual.

Helpful hints on changing the transmission oil (would also work for diff):
