88 N/A to an 88 N/A motor swap
I picked up an 88 convertible cheap not to long ago. Motor runs well, 130k miles. But the body is beat up. I have an opportunity to pick up an 88 hatch with a much nicer body, but a "locked motor".
Other than disconnecting everything, swapping the motors, and reconnecting everything. Do you see any problems? An 88 N/A is an 88 N/A, whether it is a convertible or a hatch right?
BTW, anyone looking for a project convertible? No motor, but a good 5 speed, good brakes, needs a new cloth top, front left fender and front bumper.

I would get a compression test done on the engine I am getting ready to swap. This will tell you if it is about ready to take a **** and cost ya more money or if it is worth the buy.
