AZ 88 gtu grounding help

Hi all!
Its been a while since I posted last, so to start off things right, HI!

Anyways, besides that, I have done a whole lot to my car, namely:
Changed spark plugs
New Starter
Fuel Filter
Oil Filter
Air Filter
New Battery
MAF Sensor
O2 Sensor

Now, I have complained about how my car does not idle right, as it wont stop idling around 1.3 to 1.5k rpms at any given time.
It also loses power when I press on the gas too hard, and it seems like it wants to die or something.
But I have done so much research, and have browsed and tried a lot of different idea's as to my problem, and I cant find my answer. Maybe you guys could help me one last time. (yes, I have searched the archives here lol)

What I have come to realize is that it might be a grounding issue. A lot of posts and threads have pointed me into this direction, but I am not a big person on wiring and all that stuff.

So here is my question:
Is there a write up on how to replace, clean and put new grounds in your fc3s? I have checks Aaroncake and the grounding page on that site just shows where the ends are. What I need is like a step by step writeup that shows where the wires are, and how to put new ones in.
After looking at Aarons site, I noticed that where the ECU ground was supposed to be, it wasnt there. So I think that might be my problem.
Sorry if this sounds really bad, but I am not the biggest car mechanic out there lol.

Thanks for anyone who can help me out!

I forgot to mention one little thing. And I did replace the TPS. I totally forgot to write that down.

Anyways, I got a PM from a user who gave me step by step instructions as to what I am supposed to do with the grounding. I will post a video of what the car sounds like and is doing later on. Probably tomorrow morning. Thanks everyone who gave it a shot!

Ill keep you updated on this weird project of mine... hahaha!

Exclamation

Hey guys, quick question, as I am trying to work on the ECU ground for my 88 N/A rx7.

I have a couple pictures, and I am unsure of how the ground is supposed to go.

When dealing with the 4 ground wires coming out of the plugs of the ecu, there are two sets of crimps of wires that connect, so that two wires go into one, and then the other two wires go into three???

I read up on this post:
https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/ecu-ground-wire-questions-658615/

that you have to take all 4 wires, and converge them into one, and then you can ground it to a bolt that holds the metal pan thingamabob ontop of the ecu.

But on one of the crimps, the two ecu ground wires split into three. do I just disregard that third one? and just worry about the 4 wires originally, and leave the other three there for now?
I have some pictures that I took. Please help asap, as I am doing this right now.

Thanks guys!!!

You're over-complicating the things. You don't alter the stock wires, you just solder a wire to each of the two crimps. Read what I wrote in that link, and then do it. It's easy and it works.

Oh. I thought you were supposed to cut them, and then make a new ground...
I guess I read too much and thought about it too much. Thanks NZ!
