88 FC Auto sump gasket?

Do you have to use a gasket or can I just use high temp/oil resistant silicone in it's place?

I don't see why you couldn't just use RTV, but you'll want to wait a couple hours to let it cure before dumping fluid in

Or ya know, rip the trans out and put in a 5 speed and not have to worry about it lol

No worries I might just try that torque it up let it sit over night to let it cure put fluid in next day go for a little drive then re-torque.

It's my uncles rx7 he can't drive manual, I might have to teach him one day so he can have the proper rotary experience lol
