Damn that FD manifold looks great.

A few constructive criticisms for you...

I've been having huge temp problems running a stock TII hood. It basically doesn't see any airflow and is quite hot to the touch after a few auto-x runs. Plan on a vented hood.

I'm having a hard enough time keeping my engine cool after multiple runs (it gets hot in traffic sometimes too) and I have a Koyo. I would start budgeting for a upgraded radiator pronto.

Good selection of couplers and clamps here:
http://www.cxracing.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?

Stock turbo outlet is 2".

Vented hood is in the works and I was just trying to make do with stock radiator now, we'll certainly upgrade if the need arises.

Thanks for all the input.

Now what are you going to do with those gaps between the radiator and the ic ? That will affect the air flow to the ic and radiator.
Thanks Robert

Thanks man, I was inspired by BLUETII and TTT and just did my version.

I wired the e-fan last night and ended up relocating the relay/thermostat to under the CF radiator panel, near all the other relays in the bumper.

Still to Do-
Ducting
Few Misc Hose Clamps

Strut bar will be reinstalled, just not in the pics.

and the intercooler is going to see plenty of air without any little e-fan, I don;t sit in traffic in the 7.

Progress Update as of Today

Welded up some new radiator brackets-

Added some ducting as well-

Almost done now, just got to fill it back up with coolant and install the new hood when it gets here this week. I think it's coming along well though and am looking forward to seeing how it works.

What do you guys think?

Thanks guys.

This has all been an experiment for me, except I have no hypothesis. I have just been winging the whole time, kind of plan as I go spur of the moment engineering. I think the ducting did come out far better than I had originally expected. I just bought the sheet aluminum and some rivets, some weatherstripping and started cutting.

I still have to figure out a way to keep the OMP working with the FD TB, I spent over a hundred bucks on the new lines and don't really want to have to premix.

Well I got it running tonight for the first time in a few months. It actually fired right up but stalled a few times, the idle is a bit too high and you have to play the gas pedal to keep it alive but it sounds great. Very smooth and lively but needs to be tuned for idle. Now that I think about it I haven't even checked the TPS, that should make a big difference huh?

From the pictures it looks like ac would work, but power steering would not.
You'd have to cut the top off the bracket where the ps pump bolts on for it to work.
