87 Turbo II Rebuild Help
87 Turbo II Rebuild Help
So I have a 1987 Turbo II that my husband was in the process of trying to rebuild before he was killed in a motorcycle accident on 4/11/18. I’m needing some advice on where to send the engine to get rebuilt and some ideas on the build as well, because this is definitely not my area of expertise, but I want to make it happen.
Very sorry to hear of your husband's passing. Very noble of you to take control of his restoration project. Contact Dave or Kathy Atkins at www.atkinsrotary.com and speak with them about rebuilding the engine. They are great people.
Sorry to hear about Joey, but must say that will all unexpected deaths, one must try and cope as best they can and not be overcome with emotional responses. Although he would have liked to finish the "7", doing so at this time may be cost prohibitive and in the end a vehicle that would need a great amount of attention if used regularly.
Might want to contact Kevin Landers at Rotary Resurrection, Morristown TN kevin@rotaryresurrection.com to get some information. At least he's located in the next state.
Good luck and once again my condolences.
