That should help.

I just use the BUR7EQ/BUR9EQ spark plugs and OEM replacement wires. You can get some Magnecor wires if you want.

You can check http://www.mazdatrix.com/ignition.htm for more info.

Change out the fuel filter and perhaps the O2 sensor too.

The full tuneup proceedures are listed in the Factory Service Manuals. You can download them from the links in the FAQ.

What it doesn't mention is that you should check all the fuel lines for leaks and verify the pulsation damper (see Archives) is not leaking.

Also take a look at http://www.aaroncake.net/rx-7/newowner.htm

what about the gunk motor flush. this is the product info

FUNCTION AND APPLICATION: A blend of sludge dissolving solvents which can be added to an engine

Turbo Charged gasoline or diesel engines. For Turbo Charged gasoline and diesel engines, use our
Synthetic Motor Flush (part no. MFD1)
OUTSTANDING PROPERTIES: Frees up sludge associated with slow city driving. Can be easily used
by car owners or professional technicians just before oil changes,
USE DIRECTIONS: 1. Check that engine oil is at a safe operating level. 2. Add MF to cold engine before
changing oil and filter. Idle-engine at normal speed for 5 minutes. GUNK® Motor Flush will circulate
throughout the entire lubricating system of your engine removing sludge, gums and varnishes from engine
and oil pan. It also frees sticking valves and rings. DO NOT DRIVE CAR. 3. Drain oil and remove oil filter.
4. Replace filter and drain plug and refill engine with new oil. NOTE: On engines with high mileage or
excessive deposits remove and clean the oil pan. IMPORTANT: Use entire contents of container after
opening. Do not store partially used container.
