87 TII won't stay running...
ok i just bought a stock 87 II that has sat for quite awhile, and its having problems starting....ive got it to start 3 times using ATF, and it starts right up i give it a lil gas to try and keep it at a 4k rev but as soon as the rpms go up a bit it just dies...im making sure to change the oil after the ATF starts...do you think this can be from vacuum leaks or something?
thanks in advance for any help!

ok...got it to start and stay started....boy did i smoke out the country side! held it at 4k this time till warm, let go of gas to see if it would stay running on its own power, it did. granyted the idle was high. BUT it just kept getting warming and warmin fast so i cut it off...looks like i have a coolant leak under the intake mani (maybe thats why it keeps getting hotter?). and also when i tried to start it up again it was a no go...i think i also have bad injecters. so i guess i need to double check all my vacuum and coolant lines and then get some new injecters.
