87 TII w/o ABS Wiring Diagram

I have the FSM wiring diagram from FC3s.org. Anyone have the diagram scanned from the 87 TII Supplement?

Until I can afford a Standalone ECU, I decided to revamp my very worn and BRITTLE TII Emmissions harness (Engine). The exisiting harness covering was missing/brittle/worn beyond belief. The injector connections were trash.

The goal of this endevor are:
a. Replace all broken connections
b. Replace all brittle wiring
c. Remove all un-needed connections (ie "Rats Nest Wiring")
d. Protect the wiring from future damge

In the past 2 evenings I have the following progress.

1. Removed existing harness covers and wraps. Temporary Tie-wraps are used to maintain harness branch locations.
2. Solenoid Valve Connections and wiring have been deleted from the harness back to the ECU plugs

This has resulted in a large quantity of trash by the workbench.

The next stage is to place the harness on the engine to determine optimum routing and branch lengths.

Then the individual runs will be replaced with Tefzel Mil Spec Wire MS-22759/16 and new connectors. The branches will be wrapped in High Temperature Silicone Tape. Then a vinyl protective cover will be placed over it.

Pics to come soon

Connectors and Pins hi-lighted in yellow have been BANISHED from the harness

I think if you are going to run all new wires and want to keep them safe; you could try to route them through the hole on the drivers side of the firewall and run the wires over the top of the motor. This would move all the important wires away from the exhaust which is what probably cause most of the wear on them.

I am going to route the injectors and Throtlle sensors on the firewall and drop down behind the engine, Great minds think alike

Some of these did not get thru. Shoulda been one thru nine. The first couple were emissions, then I remembered the other emissions page which should have been maybe seven thru nine. I'm running late. Maybe late tonite or early morning. I really have not read this full post yet. I'll read it thru later tonite. The dirty mouse and having to log on and off to post these is taking too much time right now. I post a jpg, wait, get a site not resopnding, go back, then log off, then log back on to see if its been taken. Takes too much time right now.

Another idea! You could drill a new hole through the firewall right behind the throttle body and run all of the wires right through there. The boost sensor could even be moved to inside the car. You probably wouldn't see any wires.

This is why I try not to come on here and ask to many questions. You always end up with some new idea that will set you back a month and a few hundred bucks.
