87 TII help.....
Hey all....
I'm totally new to RX-7's, but I'd like to get one and start playin. I found one on ebay thats up for auction, its a 87 TII with 80K miles on it. The only thing is the owner says it hasn't run in two years. He says it will turn over fine, but just won't start. The auction is up to $1K so far with 4 days left. Any suggestions on what could be wrong with the car? Good deal or bad?
Thanks for your help,
-Miles

well i bought a 87 tII off of ebay and well i don't think it was the best deal,,i have been restoring it for the past 6 months and it still doesn't run. i would suggest finding one locally that you can look at and say no if it is not to your liking.

I wouldn't go much higher than $1000 to $1200 for a non running series 4 T2 and personally unless it was in perfect body condition probably wouldn't go past $900 with the dead motor.
remember 50% of the stuff on ebay is crap. Now that means that 50% is good, but do you want to take that chance with a $1000
