Wtf

WTF does anybody know how many series 5 turbo II's were produced. I've been looking for one in the NYC/Long Island area for nearly 4 months now and not a one has been for sale. When I bought my '87 944 turbo I had found about 4 cars to choose from after 4 months. I'm sure the 944 turbo is a much much rarer car then a turbo II. damn i miss that car. Anyway hopefully I'll soon be in a turbo II and see for myself if it can compare.

Don't have the time or the money to do a conversion. If I had that kind of money I would get myself another 944 turbo. Plus its a huge waste of time and money to do a conversion like that. It would be like converting an auto to a stick. Why would anyone do that? Just sell the car and buy a turbo or a stick and save yourself a lot of money, time, and headaches. Just my two cents.

I don't know how many turbos alone were buily but Mazda only sold 6,986 '91 model year RX-7s in the North America.

So figure half of that was coupes and half of the remaining were 'verts, that leaves about 1700 or so that were probably T2 models in Canada and the USA, with half again going to California (where Mazda typically sold almost half of its cars).

Of course that is just a rough estimate.
