87 Tii
Well this is my first time to post here, so be gental.
I have a 1988 convertable 5 speed NA that I bought two years ago with apx 160k miles on it. When I went to smog it in May it failed bad so I decided that I would take it to Arizona where I own a home in a county that dosent require smog test yet. Then I though why not up grade the car to a turbo II. Well I bought a 87 Tii yesterday with 100K miles on it. It seem to run OK but I do not feel like it has much more power then my NA. Should I feel more power out of the TIi or was I exspecting more then it will have. If any one is in the Escondido CA area who knows these cars I would like to talk with them.
Thanks for any and all help.

yes, the TII should be (and feel) much faster than your vert, the butt dyno can be deceiving though.. still, the turbo should feel a lot faster.
beautiful vert btw

I have both and N/A and Turbo II. You should be able to tell the diffrence between the two. The convertable should weigh more also. Take your TII to one of the rx7 guru shops and have them look it over.
