87 rx7 wont idle

I recently purchased an 87 rx7 It will start but wont idle after I put it in drive

Hey welcome to the forum.

Probably needs a new TPS or just a TPS adjustment (Throttle Position Sensor). My stickshift convertible was doing that.

Which model did you purchase and how many miles?

No which trim level? GXL, GS, SE....? Check for vacuum line leaks.
