87 NA streetport rebuild
Well I recently rebuilt my motor on my 87 na. there where some good threads out there, but I thought there should be another.
The reason for the rebuild was overheating. Pulled the cap and I could be bubbles, and I knew I had a problem. I tried to take a lot of pictures through the process, hopefully this might help someone.I started 3-1-11 and finished 5-1-11. Yes it took a little while but of course there where problems along the way..Well lets get started..pulling the motor.

i just rebuilt mine as well.. same issue.. A piece of the front iron chipped off so coolant was getting into the combustion chamber. Ported, and sent housings to goopy to get refurbished. Nice build man keep it up.
