Yes. And how do you know if the converters are clogged or not? And the leading (lower) plugs fire at the same time so even if they were mixed up it would not make a difference. And which coil had the weaker spark? Lead coil is more important than the trailing.

Well just feeling behind the exhaust with the car idling seems like pressure feels normal. Now obviously that's not a correct way to test. But if clogged wouldn't really feel anything would you?

Confused! !! Unplugged both injectors! Car runs exactly the same! Why is it even running? And there is voltage but no ground at each injector connection. Nothing was happening with a noide light...

The injectors that are the easiest to access are the secondary injectors and they aren't used unless the rpm is above 3800 rpm and the engine under load so this is normal.

I had the same issue with my '89 and it turned out to be a bad air temp sensor on the intake manifold. Idled nicely and ran like a stabbed rat after. Probably not the case for you, but it wouldn't hurt to check your sensors.

Under the manifold. And there are two Intake Temp Sensors. One in the AFM and the other depends on whether the engine is a turbo or not. Turbo=intake manifold and NA=the engine.

It's on the driver's side of the engine near the Oil Pressure Sender and has two wires to it. One is Green and the other is Black. And sometimes it is good to take a voltage reading of all the ECU pins and compare them to spec as stated in the FSM.

ECU pins:

Found it. In the intake manifold right next to the oil fill. Haven't checked it yet but when I unplugged it the car ran exactly the same.
