FL 87 n/a catalytic converter question

I would love a racing beat presilencer, but due to slow economic times a plan b might be a option. Would the 5th, 6th port actuators still work if I gut my cat?

Well, I did a little google searching to find out that the port actuators will most likely not open because of not enough back pressure. So, I guess I'm keeping the stock cat stock. If I'm wrong please bitch me out.

oh yea and all you need to do is unbolt the cat and take an old broom handle or large prybar and ram it around and dump out the guts. This is of course after you break the screens on both ends. Should take about 1 hour start to finish and it wouldnt hurt to get new gaskets for the catalytic either.

I call racing beat they said this might delay the opening of the actuators.
