I see like four of these threads everyday. You will find the answer if you search.

Um.. need a little more info. Do all the interior lights come on, headlights, dash lights, etc?
If all those work, it may be your starter, or ignition switch.

Find the wire that connects to the starter solenoid and see if this wire has voltage on it when the car is attempted to be started. The starting circuit on the car is fairly simple and there shouldn't be that many wires involved. Focus on the wire leading to the starter solenoid and work your way backwards in finding out why this wire doesn't have voltage on it at start. Jumpering this wire to the battery positive should make the starter turn over and prove that it is good and wired properly.

I'm pretty sure that's supposed to go straight to the ignition, not to a relay.

He mentioned something about "pushing it" and not starting so he evidently has his starting circuit rewired to incorporate a switch to start the car probably to bypass a faulty ignition switch.

If a push button starting system was used the start button would only require two wires. One that leads to the starter solenoid and the other being a wire that has constant voltage. The wire that leads to the starter solenoid was Black/White from the factory and this wire split off to go to the ECU besides the starter solenoid.

update!! its a 5 prong relay where four prongs are continouse with the 12volt and one that isnt
the 12 volt wire was not giving continouse power so i looked for its origin to put a new wire
its actually connected to the last fuse to the right in the fuse box in the engine bay(i cant remember off the top of my head what its for ill look in the book later).
i stripped it and put in a new wire but no go
i then removed the relay (im no electro mechanic) but the 12volt prong is rusted and not all that good looking.
i jumped the wire leading to the starter and the car cranked but no start (i have no one in the shop with me so i cant turn the key but i do have the clutch depressed with a cinderblock).
so my guess is its the relay.
any other ideas while i look for a similar relay in the shop (big *** mess of new pieces and none are organized)
thanks

Why not leave it open until you get done as an exterminator (de-bugging)?
