basically did a engine swap into it from my other rx7 gxl. everything is all hooked up, but when i go to crank it over the starter just spins. i have 2 starters they both do the same thing. so i have tried every wire combination and it just spins. the solenoid does not activate on either of them. i took both starters to autozone and both were bad. so i dont know if the bad wiring shorted them both out or not. either way i am getting a new starter today, and need a wiring diagram for it, or just someone tell me straight forward the cables that go to it. I NEED THIS CAR RUNNING THIS WEEKEND---

sounds like the bendix gears were bad on both starters...

wiring is easy, especially if the solenoid is attached...

big ground on bell housing, spade connector on spade terminal of starter, and power wire with boot bolted to the empty solenoid terminal (make sure this wire is shielded)...

yea i know the wiring is straight forward on it, but i have never experienced a starter problem like that so i started second guessing myself. i am sick today cause a concert last night, but ill make a post on sunday to let you know if its fixed. thank you
