Question 87 Gxl

Could someone please tell me what the horse is of the 1987 GXL.Also is this a good year to buy?Im looking to do alot of mods to it (Interior&Exterior)Will this be a good year to do so?

Thats the same model and year that I own.

-you get the limited slip diff!
-you get all the good breaks adj. suspension 5 bolt pattern.
-power windows

but its not a 1989+ series 5 that means less horsepower. But it has a lighter body. but the uglier front lip. And mine didnt come with a spoiler.

sweet LSD! I've got a gxl too, no idea it had the limited slip. Haven't driven it yet, bought a corpse but I'm skilled in raising the dead Someone just informed me in another thread that its about 160bhp. Much less that I expected, but it wouldn't take much to get it up to 200. A mild street port plus a full custom exhaust would get you darn close.
