CT 87 FC rear hub/stud/W bearing issues

Ok my fellow FC owners I'm having some difficulty with my current project. I recently broke some of my lug bolts(over torqued them) so I figured I fix it myself but ran into some problems. Well when I removed the hub it looks like part of my bearing stayed with the hub! Is this suppose to happen? Whats the best way to get it off the hub? Torch? I already have a new wheel bearing and studs for my hub. The only thing holding me back is removing that part of the bearing off. PLEASE help!! I need some advice! Thanks in advance!!

First pic is of the hub and piece of bearing still attached

Second pic is of the toe control hub and the rest of the bearing is.

Wow. That must have been making some noise on the road, because that bearing has probably been in a state of failure for a long time.

The hub and spindle are supposed to be one piece, assembled by pressing the bearing into the hub, then pressing the spindle into the bearing.

You'll need to remove the hub, then take the whole mess to a machine shop with a new bearing and say "fix this".

The funny thing is it never made noise. The wheel bearing was perfect. The only reason I removed the wheel hub was to replace the broken wheel studs. This has become the most aggravating jobs I've ever encountered. Damn now to find a machine shop with my area. Crap I should have just took my car to a shop from the beginning. Lesson DEFINITELY learned.

yea its the bearing seal. Since that part of the bearing is stuck, when I pulled the wheel hub off the seal went right through the retaining clip/ring. You can still see the retaining ring is still on in the second pic.

Any old automotive machine shop can do the pressing for you. Many parts stores will offer this service or at least can point you where to go.

Cut a slit with a cut off wheel down to the shaft of the hub, and use an air hammer with an angled chisel bit to spin it off the hub. Did you slide hammer it out or did it just fall out after removing the axle nut?

Oh and thats normal, 99% of the time when doing a press in wheel bearing the race comes out with the hub, and you cut it off. Or grind it right down with a bench grinder and smash it off with a hammer and chisel.
