87 engine swap

i bought a 87 tll with no motor and i am wondering what you guys think would be beter to do if i should put the orignal motor in it or a s5 or a jdm and what is the difference beteen the s4, s5 and the jdm

JDM motors are identical in power and ouput (infact there are only minor differences in emmissions) between A spec and Jspec engines.
