KY 86 rx7 na oil baffle question

I recently installed a RB adjustable oil regulator 80psi and a RB oil pan baffle with 2 oil gaskets. I put in the required 5 qts of oil for my 86 rx7, but it registers 1 qt low. Is this due to the xtra width of 2 oil pan gaskets and oil pan baffle? The instructions say make sure u have the proper amount of oil due to the way the baffle works, but suggests that u do not overfill. What shoul I do, add 1 qt or leave alone?

the oil cooler takes about a extra quart to fill, so feed it another quart.

CARZY!..long time NO hear.,.How Is ya Man??(feel Special!.he doesn't post much any,more!..haha!).
To The OP:The stock system From totally empty is 6 quarts. When someone does an Oil change, the Oil usually sits in the cooler,Unless you drain that too,
So in essence an Oil change is just a OIL Mix!.(2 quarts old and 4 quarts new).

All I did was the upgrade and drain the oil pan not the cooler, why is it registering a qt low? Could it be the added space of the oil baffle and 2 gaskets? Normally when i do a oil hange I add only 5 qts and its ok?

You're over-worrying.

Fill the engine with oil until it registers as full on the dipstick. Then run it a few minutes, and top it up again until it is really full.

The baffle and double gasket adds very little capacity.
