86 rx7 idle problem that comes and go

Okay so i recently just bought an 86 na rx7 that didnt run, so i changed the fuel pump, fuel tank, fuel filter and it started right up. Also the mods on the car are
A egr delete, air control valve delete, bypass air control delete and headers. And for some reason they deleted the tps. But the problem im having is really strange because one day the car will be idling fine reving past 8k rpms then right after it will be stuck at 2k or 4k rpms constant like if it randomly got into limp mode. Then it will go right back to driving fine out of no where and im so confused. Im not familier with fuel injected rotarys or know much about them but the reason i own the car is to make it my drift car and im a fan of rotarys. I appreciate all the help given.

You don't have a TPS? Get a "throttle position sensor" lol.

Without it the ECU will fix the values of the throttle valve opening angle. This is a very important sensor.

You might be green now but stick to it man. The learning curve does eventually flatten out... ... eventually lol.

same issue

Im having the same issue except mine will idle fine and then it will just drop to around 300 rpms and nearly shut off. Then the next time I drive it, it will be fine. I had my intake cleaned out and changed the spark plug but im still having the same issue. Anyone else have any other ideas?
