86 N/A S4 MFM AFM meter door readings

Hello,

The FSM says 50 - 500 ohms for the MFM mass airflow meter door opening . . .As more air comes in the door opens up more .

. Between pins E2 and Vs

Open 50 to 500
Closed 50 to 500

86 S4 N/A

What I want to know is if that is a sliding scale where closed is 50 ohms and full open is 500 ohms?. . Or is it gotta be somewhere in that value between open and closed at any point on the sliding scale.

Anybody?

It does not seem to follow a smooth increase like the TPS, so if its between you are set.
