86 gxl ina flood
okay guys/gals,igot caught in high water for a short period resulting in a carbon locked rotary. before i new what to do i turned the flywheel to break the engine free,end result was no power when i tryed to driveit,is it too late for the atf trick opr what? please help,third rotary this year, your local dumb a**!

Never too late to try it, but don't know if it will help. Can't hurt.Hope you changed oil before trying to start it. You can also add a little kerosene to possibly loosen up the seals...You know, squirt, sit, turn, squit, sit etc. Do ATF then check compression.

you obv broke something in the drivetrain.. maybe it snapped when you tryed to turn the flywheel.. go find what you snapped.. take the flywhel off and have a look...

thanks guys,ill try anything,when i bought this car it had a engine with the same problem,tryed working on it for six months,till i drove all the neibors crazy,and i live in the country, ha!
