Need more info. Does it drive? Is it locked up? More than likely the trans will have to come out one way or another.

open the sucker up more than likely you do need a rebuild but maybe it's locked or you have jumped a fork.

mine did th esame thing locked in 5th !!!! It wouldnt even move in 1st 2nd 4th or reverse. I put it in nutrual and it was still in gear!!!! I just got a new tranny they want like 400to 600 to rebuild
