What are you calling the driver-side harness? The front harness is the larger of the two over there, and connects to all the relays, etc...Then you have the engine harness, which is smaller and connects to the CAS, coolant temp sensor, oil pressure sender and other things.

^ Most of the starter related wires are on the engine harness, but the front harness does have the starter cut relay (on cars w/ alarms) and the start of the signal wire from the ignition switch to the starter solenoid. It goes to a plug (FE-05), then connects to the starter solenoid itself via the engine harness.

If not this, I would say the main relay plug/wiring is suspect.

interior fuses just control the interior lighting and some switches.

Wow, you're going to need new emissions (ECU) and front harnesses. I would throw away all of that hacked up B.S. and start fresh.

The thing is, if any fuses blew, it's probably because of one or more shorts somewhere in the mess of re-wiring.

Jumping the fuel pump test connector bypasses the fuel cut switch in the AFM. If it won't run without it, there's bound to be a problem with the wiring to/from the AFM and/or circuit opening relay. The relay is under the dash. It's yellow and black I think.
