Hey guys I just need a few suggestions as to where this problem might be originating.

At about half throttle I get a flat spot where it seems to slow down. Once I push the throttle, about 3/4, it almost launches.
The other night I took it out to "test" it and it was flawless at full throttle. I had high expectations for it but this blew away even me.
Here is a little history on my motor. Large race port, emissions deletion including cat, 2.5" dual exhaust, electric fan, no ac, no power steering and few other things like custom intake and the like.

Any info on where to look would be great.
Also if you know of a good shop around ventura county, CA please let me know. I'm thinking about taking it somewhere to get it tuned.
