Is the crank pully on a 86 rx7 hard to r and r. I have a under drive pulley on right now and the charging system sucks. I have gone threw 4 alternators and all only charge at 12.00 vlts. Which I believe is to low. Any suggestion and is it very easy to change the crank pulley. rob

 

Are you talking about simply removing it and replacing it with another (stock) pulley?

If so, that's really easy; (take out fan, shround, belts etc., then remove pulley)

One thing to note; the stock pulley can ONLY be put on a CERTAIN way. The 'holes' are staggered slightly.

To confirm; you want to replace your aftermarket "underdrive" pulley with a stock pulley, correct?
