86 coolant Release
I have a 1986 car, when i installed my new engine it DID NOT have the small nipple near the radiator cap (the nipple for the coolant overflow release)
IS this absolutly nessesary? I've been driving the car now for about a month with no problems, sitting in hot florida traffic....
Do i need to have the overflow nipple (under radiator cap on thermostat housing)??
Thanks, Markus

Yes i installed an 87 engine, but my radiator cap is still on the engine itself---- Thermostat housing.
BUt this one does not have a nipple for the collant overflow
I've been driving around for like a month.. what will happen if i keep driving like this?
The engine has not everheated or anything, the guage barly moves.
