7500 rpm hesitation (Crane Cams HI-6)
i recently installed a crane cams hi-6. Since I installed it I noticed a negligable mileage increased (also installed new o2 sensor). When I try to accelerate hard though I hit a wall at or before 7500 rpm.
I have the dials on the crane cams set to 0-1. Later today I will try the v6 option on the crane cams and maybe the 4 cyl - maybe that will help.
I also originally forgot to hook up my leading ignitor trigger and was able to rev higher. I suppose this means that I could have easily stuffed my catalytic converters, but I doubt so, even though I am hearing road/exhaust clatters now.
Any ideas or suggestions? I also guess it could be my alternator going out again, but i doubt that its load would prevent me from getting that high.
So any suggestions? anybody experience similiar issues?

Well, it got progressively worse and worse, on the way to an autocross i lost all power and couldnt maintain highway speed. It turns out my cat was clogged.
