If I were to go with a non-Mazda color, it would be something like that. Looks good. What color is it?

MY dad has that same body kit he got with a fc project car he bought off a kid here in town a month or so back. Got a question how well did it line up I've done some initial placeing on the side skirts and they seem to be about 1" short. Just wondering how much of a headache i'm going to be in when I start putting his car together this summer. Really like how yours is looking so far and props on the color.

Moonless you have youre work cut out for you. It was the biggest pain that you will find out very very quickly. I do body work as a second job and it took everything that i had to keep goin. But i also did everything the (right) way EVERYTHING is moulded door jams, bumpers, side skirts, handles, antenna, 3rd brake light anyway its not going to be very fun at all bottom line it takes alot of fiberglass, time, money and most of all patience GOOD LUCK my kit nothing NOTHING lined up correctly THANKS FOR ALL THE POSITIVE COMPLAMENTS

I would rather fish out the extra 200 bux or so for a real corksport kit and have prefect fitment than ad 200ilbs of bondo and fiberglass to my car.

I agree don't slam such a good effort. Do you think he "knew" there would be fitment issues ahead of time and chose to save $200 instead. Too bad some good threads turn out to be a dog. Why do I say a dog? Cause when you flip it around you're sure to find an ******* shitting something that stinks on the ground no matter how good the dog looks. Now wipe the dog **** off your shoe, take credit for you work and look at the positive feedback. There's a second gen here with a similar aftermarket blue, I think that color will look awesome in the sun.

IMO I think our cars need the moldings and ends of the kits to make the car look better.
I think it fits in with the block/edgy design. Molded seems too smooth to me.

I miss the moldings, and a stock S5 bumper would do nicely, color is good and overall it looks great. Good job, you should be proud (only thing I really hate is the bumper)

i agree with 87 turbo fc about the stock s5 bumper being a better choice, but i like the shaved moldings personally. amazing work...

welljust IMO it looks too flat and uninterrupted, and kinda bland when you take off the molding, like newer rounder cars like Corvettes and FDs and anything with some curvature don't need the moulding to interfere with their lines, but the FC seems vary long and without the moldings it looks a little bit too tall. What do I know though? It's all about what you want and you have a very nice car you should be proud of, and smile when you see it catch someone's eye.

Props on the excellent work. Nice color choice too, I venture it looks even better in person. I know how much work this scale of job takes after doing the widebody kit on my 1st gen.

Pay no mind to the nay sayers. If they had even a pinky finger worth of the skill it takes to do what you did, they would be singing a different tune. It's usually the no talent wanna bes that bag the worst.

The slab sides and molded give your FC a nice contempory look. Keep up the fine work.

Looks great with nothing on the back of the car, please don't tell me the big shopping cart handle hanging in the background is going on.
