Thumbs up 7 Months Later But It's Done + Pics

Hi,

Well as some of you know my car was in a fairly bad rear end accident near the end 2003. But alot of work and paint plus a bodykit and it's back on the road. There are details below and some pics. I would like to get your opinions whether or not to put the rear wing on or leave it flat. I tihnk i made the right choice to repair it rather than ditch it. These cars really are a treat.

Name: Chris Thompson
Age: 19
Location: Australia , Victoria

Make: 1986 - Mazda Rx7 Series 4 (FC)

Color: Black (Straight Tinter) with clear coat

Exterior: Erebuni Shogun 11 FC Body Kit (No Rear Wing)

Trim: Stock with massaging seat covers and small boost gauge

Engine: Dalton Automotive 13B Turbo Doweled and Ported

Induction: T66 Turbo, Custom Piping and Turbo Smart BOV

Intercooler: Custom made largest possible front mount

Engine Management: MicroTech LTX - 8, Apexi AVR-Boost Controller + LCD

Fuel Management: Twin VL – Fuel Pumps, Malpassi Fuel Regulator

Injectors: 850cc x2 Primaries with 1700cc x2 Secondary

Transmission: Series 5 Turbo

Diff: Series 5 Turbo

Wheels: Series 5 16” Rims (Soon to change)

Exhaust System: 3.5” of turbo into 2x 2.75” pipes to 3” tips no CATS + Flames

Power to the Rear Wheels:

200.4kw / 268.7hp @ 7psi (Low Boost)

304.5kw / 408.3hp @ 18psi (High Boost)

375.6kw / 503.7hp @ 24psi (C16 Fuel) race settings

Best ¼ Mile Run: N/A (Soon to change)

Some Pictures Below.

I will post quite a few more pictures in a few days with engine bay close up and hopefully some Dyno Graphs.

Hopefully with NOS and more money and time I can hit my goal of 650hp. If anyone has had good expericances with aroud 170hp Nitrious hits please post as well with your knowledge.

Cheers
Chris

That's awesome. I like the "owned" license plate as well.

Thanx for the comments guys. It makes it all worth while when someone says it looks nice. Makes me happy I didn't sell my car for a SkyLine Rice burner or something. Go the rotories. Now does anyone have any NOS experiance good or bad.

Cheers
Chris
