Exclamation I Need Advice

Well to be honest i really could use some good advice on things to do to my Rx-7 to make it quicker and any tips or advice would be more than welcome. I never was big into rotary I was more into old muscle cars until i took a 90 rx-7 on a test drive because a friend of mine wanted me to. The ability the car had in corners was amazing ompared to what i was used to driving and I liked the way the car looked so i bought it. Now i have a 90 Rx-7 and dont know **** about them and would really like some tips or advice on where to start at on these cars, so if you got a min leave me a post.

NO! Your ears will bleed.

My suggestions. Get a full exhaust and intake system, do some simple suspension stuff (spings, shocks, maybe some sway bars) and go from there. Maybe some better and wider tires/rims too, simple stuff at first.

Next suggestion, read as much as you can on this forum. Learn, listen, read, read, read the archive especially, you'll eventually learn. Almost all of us started off not knowing much about rotaries, but you learn in time. Try to do most if not all of your work yourself, you'll learn tons.

this is great advice. dude i went from knowing nothing to knowing something ,, heheheh this forum is a great source. gave me confidence to try things and there are alot of knowledgable people on here.. if you have a question try the search feature in case its been covered before. if you are having problems locating what your looking for post a question .. there will certainly be someone here that should be able to help you out or steer you into the right direction. and who knows your buddy with the car you test drove might be able to help you out to .. welcome and enjoy ..

good advice from all, do look through the archves and scan posts evereyday like almost all of us learned something from freeze out plugs that actually went bad let your car warm up i know some do some don't it is a good precaution also check archives on articles regarding your pd, pemix, etc make all parts new now so that you learn that much more about your car my $.02 welcome to rotaries you might want to try an autox to learn that much more about handling of your car
