mines non turbo too, mine gets a tiny jump at 5500rpms but no real extra power then feels like its chugging at 6800rpms also ya i need to check ground. ill do it saturday the dorm parking lot will be my work shop

ok so i finally had some time to actually work on the car and read fsm. so i tried unplugging that solenoid and it ran exactly the same with it plugged in or not plugged in. knowing this could i assume this is the problem?
