I've thought about this a bit as well. I figured just running a line from the actuators to the manifold would be enough. The S4 actuators open at a really low pressure, so they should be full open by the time you get to full boost. The question is where to put the turbo so it will clear the actuators. Unless you do some kind of cable driven remote actuator...

even if you remove the actuators, the turbo still will not fit.
you would have to make a totally custom turbo manifold for this to work.

after doing this BOTH ways I would recomend aaron cake's method and use the t2 intake and remove the port sleves.

No, not really. I'm sure a million people have already thought of the general idea of how I am going to do this. It's just a few of the specifics I want to keep to myself.

Exactly.

Just sticking the actuator line to manifold pressure wouldn't work, because it's highly likely you'd be in boost under where those ports should open up. So they end up opening anyway, and with such large port volume and late timing, the engine goes "Blehhhhh" and you still lose low end torque.

Well yeah, that's the idea.

If a person has a six port turbo and has noticed the LACK of torque coming off stop signs...neighborhood driving, he can take a tip from BUMPSTART (Aus_) and put constant vacuum to the double throttle diaphram. This results in the secondary plates staying closed until there's enough vacuum to open the secondary throttle plates via the double throttle diaphram.

IF you screwed up and removed the double throttle diaphram/linkage etc...............pay no attention to this post.

Or you could setup a launch control and smoke em at the red light. Just for fun. LOL

I am kind of use to the lack of torque. Ijust wait for the turbo to spool and WEEEEEE.

******until there's enough vacuum to open the secondary throttle plates via the double throttle diaphram.****************

Meant to say "until the vacuum goes away and lets the secondary throttle plates open" to feed the aux ports.
