6 port NA-Turbo redline?
Hi all. I just finished my 6 port NA-Turbo, and was wondering what you guys think my new redline should be? Or wait maybe I should rephrase that. What would be the new best rpm to shift at. (since a normal 4 port turbo motor starts to lose power at 6500.)
I have not really got on it yet (I have a SUPER weird vac leak between my lim + uim that whistles hahaha), but when I do I have a feeling it will want to pull harder up top, raising the shift point back to 7000. (Because the 5th and 6th ports have been taking out)
So basically, I guess I'm taking bets on where you think the power is going to drop off at.

stock n/a and TII S4 make peak power at 6500, which means 7000 (the redline on S4) is a good shift point unless you have other mods, exhaust etc will raise the power peak and how soon power drops off. i'd say keep it at 7000, and fix that intake leak.

Its crazy at 750 rpm it still pulls 20 vac! haha no clue how with the vac leak.
Ya I have strait exhaust, no cat, and non stuck strait down pipe. Needless to say I have a ported wastegate, and am using the twinscroll.
For some reason I thought s4 NA power dropped off at 7k if u had working 5/6th ports, and s4 t2 6500. I could be wrong.
