6 Port headers to replace the cat????

Well I'm wondering if there are any headers out there for the 13B 6 port that will replace the headers. Now I know RB and Mazdatrix all have headers and test pipes but I'm not a big fan of RB and I just want a simple one piece header to replace the cat. So if anyone knows of any please post it. Thanks.

Pacesetter, MindTrain, and Racing Beat are the only ones that I know of at the moment that make headers but none of them replace the cat. Racing Beat has the closest thing with the backpressure tube on their headers and then finish out the headers portion with their pre-silencer. So NO there isn't unless you have it custom built.

Nothing wrong with Racing Beat yo.

why are you not a big fan of RB? they only make quality products. if its because of the price, then thats no reason. RB develop and test their products, and have a racing heritage that goes back decades.

i have their springs, and torque brace, and plan on getting their streetable header and presilencer within a week or two.

i dont know the quality of mindtrain, but have only heard bad things about pacesetter.

their header wont bolt up to the main cat, you need the header presilencer combo-- this will bolt up to the y-pipe.

what you are replacing with the header/prescilencer are :

exhaust manifold
the two precats
and the main cat

I own a ton of RB stuff. I have the header and pre-silencer combo that you're talking about and it is nothing but quality.

Well, I just don't like RB exhaust stuff and I also tried the springs in the touge. Like there cat back in my opinion sucks because I felt no difference in it and the piping diameter is just way to small and the springs were only 20% stiffer than stock so I still had horrible roll and bouncing effects, but I did not open this thread to get into arguments about who likes racing beat and who dosen't so please just post if you know of a way where I could get some headers that go through the cat. This is also not going to be a streetable car so I don't care about noise or smog. Thanks for your input though.

Other than the brands listed above, there is custom. Those are your options.

Then make a custom header. Since there isn't anything else. You must be the only person that doesn't think a Racing Beat cat-back doesnt add power. Its diameter is actually perfect for an NA, anything else is too big. Pricey yes, but some are willing to deal with the extra cost for quality. And 20% stiffer then stock? Then do your research before buying.

I already told you that noone makes a full header that deletes the cat. SO build a custom one or have it built. Its really just that simple!
