6 port CLICKING OH MY
Umm, Today I drove over to my friends house to go grab a bite to eat, and I noticed a wierd noise coming from under hood... When I got to his house, I opened it up and heard this clicking...
scaring the bejesus out of me haha
Well I drove it straight home and put a light on it, and I found the source.. It's on the 6 port sleeve ROD, the tiny rod that goes through the acuator arm.. real hard to explain, but if I put my finger over it, it doesn't click..
By ANY chance has anyone heard of this happening before? Anything wrong with my car you know of? Any ideas?
Thank you guys

Happened to me, Nothing to worry about. ;-)
Its just the metal tapping on more metal, nothing of real danger-But I too had the same idea that something had gone awry and I was in for some $$ repairs.
Dont worry, is the bottom line.

Rotary Freak
Simple fix.
Mark or take note of the shaft position, remove the shaft and washer set.
replace/ bang flat the washer set.
Replace the rubber o-ring (have to order this .30 part) and voila.
re-install noting the position, and test the rotation
(to be very easy/loose!)
Otherwise, tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick .......................................
