Well my 5th gear/ reverse connector are not connected. I suck with wiring. My car was auto now its stickshift. I was wondering if the 5th gear switch is NOT connected does the computer/tranny know if all five gears work, or does it treat it like a 4 speed tranny.

Cause i shift at like 3k, or 3.5k when im driving in the streets , and before i know it im in 3rd gear at like 35+ mph, dunno whats up with that.

Its a FC transmission not a FB one like i had before but there acting the same.

Just want to know. ANd if someone knows how i can wire them ( i dunno much bout wiring), please help me out so i can get my reverse lights. Dont want cops to hit me up witha ticket for going in reverse then not having reverse lights.

I live in NYC so reverse is used alot for parking..

Does anyone have experience with a auto to manny swap and knows how to re-wire this so i can get the 5th gear sensor and reveerse light going?
