Fuel Pump Sending Unit Wires....

On the 86 NA we just aquired one of the problems I have noticed once I pulled up that back carpet and took off the plate to gain access to the fuel pump and sending unit I noticed cut wires.

I believe it is a red and blue wire but they are cut from the top of the sending unit.

What would be the easiest way to reattach these?

Pic attached, not of the actual problem but show the area the wires are cut.

Thanks,
Mike

The BLUE one on the PUMP SIDE OF THE CONNECTOR, is for the fuel low warning light. It mates with the chassis half of the connector to a White/Red wire.

The RED wire on the PUMP SIDE OF THE CONNECTOR, is to the fuel gauge needle. It mates with a white/green wire on the chassis side of that connector.

The Black/White wire in the connector is power for the pump and mates with a BLUE wire on the chassis side of that connector.

The black wire is gnd and mates with a black wire on the chassis side of the connector.

Some half wit cut those wires.
