Talking 5th and 6th ports...

Hello, all... When working on my car today, I revved the engine from the throttle body to see if I could see the sleeves for the ports opening... however, the sleeves start to open as soon as its given throttle... isnt that too soon??? I thought there was supposed to be some kind of delay? Secondly... how to take them off and clean... Thanks for all the help...

sounds like they are plumbed wrong, as they should not even open unless there is a load on the engine.

Nope... that would be the other way around.

Exhaust leak on a S4 = no aux port operation

I would confirm that it is plumbed to the air supply pipe coming from the cat... if it is, then you probably have a clogged up cat.

If it is not (like maybe the last owner plumbed it to the air pump) then it would cause the problem also
