do your ports open when you rev it in neutral?
mine does.....

does that mean my cats are way clogged or does that mean the grease on rod trick is stupid???

No they shouldn't.
They should only open under load, unless changes have been made to the stock setup.

This has also been covered many times before. A search will turn up more info on the 5th adn 6th port system they you will ever need.
